My baby or I guess I should say big boy, graduated preschool this last week. He had a lot of fun this year learning about the alphabet and numbers. He loved his teacher Mrs. Lori and it's been fun to hear him walking around the house singing his favorite preschool songs. Okay...I know it's only preschool, but I can't believe that he is going to go to Kindergarten next year. I am excited for him to learn and have fun, but my protective shield for him becomes diminished. I am going to miss having him around everyday. Michael is such a sweet kid and I am so grateful he came to my family. We are so proud of you and the charming little boy you are becoming!

Mother's Day
I felt very spoiled this Mother's Day as my husband took off work and took us all up to Midway for a night to play. We had a great time swimming in the pool and taking walks together and then the next day we took the kids to the zoo. Becoming a mother was the best decision I have ever made. My heart is so wrapped up in my two special boys. They have brought more joy than I thought possible and have taught me so much about patience, love, and sacrifice. I love that Bryce climbs into my bed every morning for his snuggles and that Michael walks around the house singing to me or telling me stories. I love it that they randomly tell me they love me or are proud of me throughout the day. It cracks me up that they have to get the bad guys everyday with their lightsabers or their lasers...that they really do become Spiderman and the Hulk when they play. It's funny to me that we can not have one meal without saying "get back in your seat and eat your food". Or how they change their clothes at least twice a day into a new and more exciting outfit. Their cute high pitch voices and the funny things they say keep life entertaining. I try so hard to remind myself I will miss this stage of life when they are making me crazy with their messes or fighting. It's not all bliss and happiness, but I am trying hard to take on the attitude of "Come what May and Love it". Having kids is an adventure and I'm so glad that I have my sweetheart by my side as we take this journey together. I'm so grateful for the example of my own mother and I hope someday to be as wonderful as she is. She is pretty darn close to perfection in my eyes. I love being a mother and am very excited to be adding a little girl to the mix. I couldn't be happier!

Easter
This post is a little late...but better late than never. We had a great
Easter and the kids had a blast searching for eggs at our neighborhood
easter egg hunt. It was a beautiful Easter Sunday and a time to
remember our Savior and what is most important to us. After poor Jer
had to work, we headed over for Easter dinner at my mom's house and the
kids had a great time playing with their cousins. I love the spring!
