One month old

 My sweet baby girl is one month old!  Time is flying by way too fast.  I just need to freeze it for a little while.  Since I know this is my last baby, I have been trying to enjoy and savor every moment with her.  She is so much fun.  I just love looking into her deep blue eyes and snuggling with her.  She is now 8 lbs 8 oz, 21 inches long, and now smiles at me.  It melts my heart every time she smiles at me.  She is a great nurser, loves to be held and snuggled, loves the binkie and to be swaddled, sleeps next to my bed in her rock and play, hates car rides and screams most of the drive, loves to watch and be around her siblings, loves to be outside and go on stroller rides, and is very alert when she is awake!  I can't wait to see what the future holds for this little one!

 

School

 School is back in session.  Michael and Bryce started 3rd grade and Kindergarten this past Monday.  Bryce was so excited to go to school and Michael was a little nervous, but excited as well to start.  They both have done great and I am hoping they really like their new school.  It's always bittersweet when they start school.  It is fun to see them learning and growing, but I miss them.  Juliet also started joy school once a week and she was so excited as well.  I can't believe my kids are getting so big.  I love them so much and hope this school year is all they hope it to be.  

Stone's Visit

 Jeremy's mom and stepdad and his sister and her baby came to visit and see baby Hailey.  We had a wonderful visit and they were such a big help to me.  Thank you so much for cooking and cleaning and taking care of the kids!  The kids love seeing their grandma and grandpa and we feel very blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful family!

2 weeks old

My baby girl is already two weeks old!  It is amazing to me how this little girl who I have know for such a short while has already captured my heart.  Oh...how I love her and can't imagine our family without her.  She is so sweet and loves to be snuggled and kissed.  She prefers showers to baths, loves to listen to and watch her siblings, hates car rides, loves her binky, will only sleep on her side, and looks intensely into your eyes when you talk to her.  She wieghs 7 lbs 9 oz and is 20 inches long.  We love you baby Hailey!

Jeremy turns 36

 Closer to 40 than to 30 now....Jer turned the big 36.  We celebrated with a polar bear themed birthday (his favorite animal) and he was able to do some intense mountain bike riding and then we headed to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate.  And to make things even more fun, Jeremy's dad and stepmom and family were down visiting.  We had a great time visiting with them and the kids loved playing with their uncles and aunt!  I am one lucky gal to have snatched such a stallion!  I love you JerBear and appreciate all you do for our family.  We would be lost without you!  Happy Birthday Baby!

2 days old

 She's just so darn cute and tiny!  I just had to post some pictures of her.  She already has us wrapped around her little finger and everyone wants to hold her.  She is an excellent nurser and loves to be held and snuggled all the time.  Her weight is now 6 lbs 14 oz and the doctor said she looks perfect!  We love you Hailey!

Hailey Jewels

 Our precious Hailey Jewels made her arrival on July 25th at 12:25pm after a 2 hour labor and natural delivery!  And this was the first time I did not have to be induced!  She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long.  She has dark brown hair and dark blue eyes and is perfect!  Oh, how I already love this little girl.  I can't imagine not having her in my life even after such a short time.  I love being a mother.  It has been one of the best decisions I have every made.  It has taught me more about myself and how to be a better person and to develop a love I never knew was possible.  The kids were so excited to see her and each had to have their turn holding her and kissing her when they came to visit in the hospital.  My mom was a saint and came down early to take the kids, the day before Hailey came.  We are so thrilled to have this little piece of heaven in our lives!
