Blast from the Past

This past weekend I was able to get together with my high school girlfriends and have a girls night. We went out to Iggys and had a great time catching up. I must say that I am so glad that we still keep in touch and get together every once in a while. I had to post a picture of us now and then a picture of us in high school. I love you gals!

Birthday Bash and More

We like to party and had quite the shindig at my sister's house. My brother and mom had a birthday and we decided to have another mexican fiesta. My cousins and grandma came and we even busted open a pinata. When the pinata was finally busted open by Mitch, out flew a cute little box which contained an engagement ring. Then, my cousin Mitch got down on his knees and proposed to his girlfriend! It was so fun to have the family together and to share in his special moment. After all, isn't life really all about family!

Itty Bitty Ball

Michael started Itty Bitty Ball a couple weeks ago and is having a blast. It is so cute. They teach all these three and four year old girls and boys how to play different sports. There are a total of six classes and they teach them how to play soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, and football. He is on team Batman and now now likes to go around the house saying "Go Batman." At first he was so shy but by the third class he was able to go out there and stay with his team the whole time and participate without having me there by his side. When did he get to be so big!

Viva Las Vegas

Nothing says Valentine's day romance like a weekend getaway trip to Vegas. Jeremy and I decided we needed some couple time and dropped our kiddos off with my parents and headed down to the strip. We stayed at the Luxor and had a wonderful time seeing the sights, eating an uninterrupted dinner, going to a show, and then being able to sleep through the night. Our favorite place to go was the Belagio and we were even there when President Obama was there. Everyone needs a little break once in a while. Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids.
