Camping

Camping is made for little boys!  We were able to go camping for two nights in Ogden canyon with Jeremy's family and the boys were in heaven.  Playing in the dirt and swimming in the lake and eating smores over a campfire...what more could they want.  We had a great time and Jeremy even tried paddle boarding in the lake.   Summer and vacationing are the best!

Bryce's Birthday

How I love this little boy!  Bryce turned 4 on the 21st and we had a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Birthday for him.  He was so excited!  We started off the day by going to a bounce house where him and Michael jumped to their hearts content and then came home for his favorite dinner (pasta with white sauce) and then cake and ice cream.  He loved his Pirate ship and sword.  Bryce is just the sweetest kid you will ever meet.  I love that he becomes superheros everyday and helps with anything I ask him to do.  He has such a sweet spirit and is quite the athlete and is so dang smart.  He is such a blessing to our family.  We love you Bryce!

Juliet's Birthday

I can't believe my baby is one!  When did that happen!  I just love this little girl and she has all of us wrapped around her little finger.  What a blessing she is to us!  We celebrated her birthday by going to see Monsters University and then came home to a butterfly birthday.  She loved her new birthday chair and her Minnie cell phone.  This little girl is such a sweetheart and charms everyone she meets.  She loves to be snuggled and is definitely a mommy's girl.  She toddles after the boys and needs to be wherever they are.  We adore her and can't picture life without her!

Independence Day

I am proud to be an American!  I have always loved July 4th and watching fireworks and this year was no exception.  My family was able to come over for a BBQ and we let the kids play water games and swim in the pool until it was time to go see the fireworks.  The kids were enthralled watching the fireworks light up the sky.  I love the excitement little kids bring to all events and feel very blessed right now to be living in such a wonderful place surrounded by wonderful family and friends and to be free!  And on another note...Michael learned how to ride a bike!  It has been so fun to watch him learn this new skill and he is so proud of himself.

Anniversary

Jeremy and I just celebrated our 11 year anniversary.  We were able to spend two days up in beautiful Eden.  The first day we went to City Center in Salt Lake and went shopping and ate at the Cheesecake Factory (yum).  Then the next day, we mountain biked up to Snowbasin...which was exhausting but so beautiful.  I thought that since I had been running up to 6 miles a day, that mountain biking wouldn't be that tough....wrong!  It was a lot of work, but totally worth it!  After recovering at Snowbasin, we soaked up the sun at the pool and then decided to play some racquetball.  And 10 minutes into playing, I rolled my left foot and broke it.  When did I get old!  Luckily I broke it near the end of our trip, because I spent the rest of the night and next morning hobbling around.  Even though I can no longer walk, it was still a blast.  And now I have a cool new knee scooter to ride around on.  I have the best husband around and am so grateful that I married him.  I am one lucky gal.

Graduation

I can't believe that my baby graduated Kindergarten.  Can he really be that old!  Michael loved his kindergarten class and teacher, Mrs. Walton.  He has learned so much and can now read basic books.  He also made a lot of good friends and spent most of his time hanging out with Jaxon, Lilly, and Rex.  I feel so lucky to have this special boy in my family.  He makes me smile everyday.  I love that he walks around singing all day and is so excited about every little thing.  I was able to volunteer in his classroom and it was fun to see him interact with the other kids and learn new concepts.  And I love that he loved having me there and would run up to me and give me a huge hug every time I came in to help.  What a special kid he is!  I'm so proud of him!

Big Graduation with all of the PM Kindergarteners.  They sang songs and did a couple dances and had a slide show.  Nana and PopPop were able to come and watch.

California

May is the perfect time for a trip to California!!!  We were able to go down to California with all of Jeremy's dad family.  We were there for seven days and it was amazing.  We stayed at the beautiful Hilton resort and loved every minute of it.  We were able to spend time at the beach, go to Disneyland, Legoland, the Aquarium, and just spend time together swimming at the pool.  It was the perfect vacation.

A day with my Grandma Bootsie

Day trip to Carlsbad beach.  The kids loved playing in the waves and it was so cute to see them splashing in the waves and laughing hysterically if they got wet.  Even Juliet loved sitting in the sand.  I love the beach!

Disneyland!  The kids were in heaven here.  They couldn't get enough of the rides and seeing the disney characters.  Michael's favorite ride was Cars and Bryce loved Buzz lightyear.  It is so fun to see the excitement on their faces.  Juliet was perfect and had a great time.  We were even able to do a breakfast with the characters.  Michael and Bryce were so excited and wanted to dance and hug Goofy, Minnie, and Daisy constantly.  Even when we leaving...Michael had to run up to Daisy and let her know that he was leaving and get a goodbye hug.

Chilling at the pool.  The kids wanted to spend all their time in the warm hot tub.  Hopefully I can get them both swimming by the end of the summer!

Legoland!  The kids also loved Legoland.  The ran from ride to ride and couldn't get enough.  Bryce loved the Knight ride and Michael loved the Dragon roller coaster.  They also have an amazing Lego Miniland...where they have recreated cities and even the different scenes from Star Wars.

Sealife Aqurium.  The kids had a great time exploring the Aquarium.  We were even able to see the Shark feed and the boys were able to touch some starfish.
