Easter and Alder Visit

Vegas, baby!

 For Spring Break this year we headed to Vegas for a few days.  We had a lot of fun exploring Hershey's World and eating fabulous cookies, playing in the arcade, swimming in our pool, and playing at the park.  We each took a meal and got to go out to our favorite restaurant.  It is always fun to stay in a new place and the kids love anywhere that has a pool.  If only it could always be spring break!

Jeremy's favorite pastime

 Jeremy's new favorite hobby is mountain biking.  He loves it and spends at least one to three times a week exploring the hills and mountains of Washington and Hurricane.  He has become quite good and is far more daring that I am. Here are some pictures of his latest adventures. 

5K Race

 The boys and I just completed our first 5K run together.  We raced in The Mr. Pineview race that benefited a 6 year old little boy with spina bifada.  The kids did awesome!  They ran the entire time and finished 3.1 miles in 31 minutes.  It was a good experience for them to train for the race and learn that they can do hard things and that hard work pays off.  I am so proud of my kids and feel blessed everyday to be their mother!

 

Fortune's Visit

 Jeremy's dad and step-mom and family came and stayed with us for a few days in February.  The kids always have a great time playing together.  We took them on a hike that overlooks the Virgin River and the boys loved playing flag football together.  We just love our awesome family!

Stones Visit

 Grandma and Grandpa Stones came to visit us while Grandma was attending a work conference.  We had a lot of fun spending time with them.  We played games, walked down by the river, and they even let the kids come swim at their hotel.  We feel very blessed to have such wonderful family!  Michael and Bryce showed off their box cars they had made for scouts.
