Jeremy and I celebrated our anniversary a little later in the year. We took a trip to beautiful Seattle for four days of fun. We had a blast and packed a lot of activities into four days. We stayed right in downtown and walked or took the shuttle everywhere we needed to go. We only rented a car for the last day. We were able to go see a Mariners game at Safeco Field. We had awesome seats, thanks to my friend Tiffani. We also walked down to Pike's Place and shopped, walked to the pier and ate at the Crab Pot, and strolled miles along the coast taking in all of Seattle's beauty. We toured the Space Needle and gazed over Seattle. We even took a ferry ride to the little island of Bainbridge. We decided to rent bikes and biked over 20 miles around the island. We were exhausted but it was a lot of fun. We also drove up to Mt. Rainer and hiked a rugged but beautiful hike that led to two different lakes. On our last day, we drove to the beach and collected shells for our kids, stopped by the Temple and walked around, and then spent the rest of the day exploring the Gardens. We had a fabulous time and loved spending time together as a couple. Life is better when your spouse is also your best friend.
