Moving

Life is one crazy adventure!  Just when we had sat down and set our goals for the year...life throws a curve ball and leads to another direction.  I just started a job at the Instacare by our house, so my commute to work would not be as long and we could put more money towards our student loan debt...when Jeremy gets a call from IHC offering him a job he had applied to a while ago in St. George.  So....we weighed our options and decided to make the move to St. George.  We found out we would have about 3 1/2 weeks before he started down there, so we decided to rent our house instead of selling it.  Within 4 hours we had rented our house.  I guess it is meant to be.  I will miss my friends and family so much...but this is a great opportunity for Jeremy's job.

My friends had a goodbye party for me and these are a few pictures from that night.  I feel very blessed to be surrounded by so many friends and family!

Wolfcreek

For one of my Christmas presents, Jeremy took me on a weekend getaway to Wolfcreek.  We had a great time soaking in the hot tub, watching movies, cross-country skiing, and snow shoeing.  The temperature was perfect for skiing and I only crashed twice and we got a great workout.  I'm so grateful that after 11 years, Jeremy and I still love being together!  Thanks for the present baby!

Winter hike

Yep...it's still cold and snowy, but the kids don't seem to mind.  We went for a little hike in our neighborhood to get out of the house.  We start to go a little stir-crazy when we are inside all day!

Michael's haircut

Michael finally decided to cut his hair and so I gave him a short haircut.  He looks so old to me now.  I just love that little boy!  He's so handsome!

2014

A new year is already here!  2014...that is the year that Marty travels to the future in the movie Back to the Future and it is already here!!!   I always love the new year where we are able to make new resolutions and try to make this next year and ourselves even better than the year before.  Jeremy and I have set a lot of goals for ourselves and I am excited to see what this next year brings!

More Christmas and New Years

We had one giant celebration with my family.  First we celebrated my 33rd birthday.  Wow...how did I get to be so old!!!  Then we celebrated Christmas together.  Then we celebrated New Year by playing games, eating snacks, and laughing until after midnight and somehow even the kids stayed up to celebrate the new year.  What an awesome family I have!!!

Sledding

The kids had a great time sledding in Smithfield with Grandpa and Grandma and cousins.  Jeremy and I even hopped on the sleds and made a few runs.
