Snow

If finally snowed!  The kids were so excited to see snow when they woke up and Bryce went outside and played in it until it started to all melt away.  That's the good part about living here...snow usually only sticks on the ground for a day and then it's nice and sunny again!  So, if we want to go sledding, we drive up to Cedar City.

And they're off

Michael and Bryce just finished their first race.  They competed in the kids Dogtown race in Washington.  They had a great time and ran fast and were so excited to receive a medal and goodie bag at the end.  They want to run the 5K next year as a family!

It's A Girl

And it's a girl!!!  We are so excited.  Everything has just worked out perfectly.  Two boys then two girls.  I couldn't have planned it better myself.  The kids are very excited.  Michael and Juliet guessed it was a girl and Bryce guessed it was a boy.  We had the kids open a big box and the balloons would either be blue if it was a boy or pink if it was a girl.  And the balloons that came floating out were pink!  The kids want to name her Sophia, but Dad gets the final say.  We are so excited to meet this little one!

Valentines Day

Valentines Day!  Jeremy and I were able to go on a date for some pizza and a walk through the park.  Then we rented a movie and picked up our kids from our friends.  The next day we took the kids to the park and to watch the Dixie State Basketball game.  They had fun cheering on the Red Storm and eating popcorn!

Hiking Adventures

We love hiking!  There are so many cool hikes around here. We spend almost every weekend hiking or exploring.  The boys love to hike.  Here are some pictures of some of our favorites.

Johnson Canyon - Snow Canyon

Emerald Pools - Zions

 Riverwalk - Zions

Sledding

We went sledding with Sheryl's family at the highschool and the kids loved it.  We sledded until our fingers and noses were frozen and then headed home to go out to eat!

Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  We love Christmas at our house!  Not only because Santa comes to visit and spoil us, but even more so because we get to celebrate the birth of our Savior.  The kids had a great time filling up baby Jesus's manger and of course loved visiting Santa and then opening presents on Christmas day.  Michael loved his Green Machine, Bryce loved his Ninja costume, and Juliet loved her horse.  Christmas is so fun with kids...watching their excitement and feeling of their joy is contagious.  For New Years this year, we headed up to my parents house and celebrated Christmas with them.  We had a great time and I am so grateful for my family!
