4th of July

I'm proud to be an American!  I love the 4th of July. We had a great weekend celebrating our country's independence.  We spend Friday hiking up at Kolob Canyon.  The kids loved hiking through the water and it was the only way to stay cool!  Then on Saturday, we went to the downtown St. George park for games, music and fun.  The boys were even able to run down a foam slip and slide.  Then we went to see the movie Home and finally we went to watch the fireworks.  I love watching fireworks and listening to patriotic music.  I feel very blessed to live in the beautiful country and am so grateful for my freedom and those that sacrificed and still sacrifice to give us that blessing!

Wolf and Lost Tooth

Bryce lost his second tooth while eating an apple and was so excited.  He talked about it all day long and could not wait until bed so he could put his tooth under his pillow and get a visit from the tooth fairy.  Michael also worked hard and earned his wolf badge in scouts.  He is growing up too fast!

Father's Day

We love our Jer Bear!  We are so grateful to him for all of his hard work and sacrifices for us.  The kids had a great time making Dad ties for him and we gave him some golf shorts and grilling mats.  The kids favorite things to do with their dad is to have wrestle mania, play sports, and have stories read to them.  We feel very blessed to have him in our lives.  And to make this day even more special, my Dad and Mom were visiting, so we were able to see them.  I am so grateful for my Dad as well and for everything he has done for me throughout my life.  He has been a great example and strength to me.  Happy Father's Day!

Eden Cousin Bash

We were able to go spend some time up in Eden with Jeremy's family for the annual cousin birthday bash!  It was absolutely beautiful up there and the kids had a great time playing together.  They love their cousins and were of course spoiled again.  We had a great time hiking around, swimming, and watching movies.

Basketball and Soccer Camp

Bryce and Michael were both able to attend a three day basketball camp and soccer camp.  They had a great time playing the two sports and made some new friends.  Bryce now wants to be a professional basketball player when he grows up.  And Michael loves to play soccer.  It is so fun watching these two boys grow up.

Lake Fun

We went up to Cedar City to get out of the heat and go fishing and to their man made lake to play in the water.  The boys had fun fishing with dad and Juliet and I had fun splashing in the water.

Last Day of School, Lost tooth, and a Hike

Michael's last day of school with Mrs. Smith.  Second grade was hard, but he had a great teacher to help him along and liked going to school.  Some of his best friends were Carter, Eli, Mason, Lilly, and Macy and he even had a little crush on a girl named Daveny.  It has been fun to see him learn and grow and we are definitely ready for summer! We also went on a hike that overlooked St. George.  The kids are awesome hikers and hiked 4 miles with no problems!  Bryce also lost his first tooth and was so excited.  He talked about it all that day and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to come and visit him.
