Doctor Jeremy

You did it! Jeremy graduated with his doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from UNLV on May 17th 2008. After 3 long years of studying, living off of no sleep, and still trying to be a husband and father, he accomplished what he had set out to do. Thank you to everyone who traveled to come and support Jeremy.

Jeremy had a class graduation the night before the UNLV graduation. There he is posing with his mom and step dad and then with my mom, sister, her husband and son, and Michael and I.

A quick picture of Jeremy before we head to the big UNLV graduation.

It was 100 degrees the day Jer graduated and poor Jer had to walk around outside in his black robe while we made him pose for pictures. He was a good sport.

Way to go Jeremy, or should I say Doctor Jeremy. Okay, so only Nick and I have to call him doctor. We are so proud of you and all your hard work. Now for our next adventure....

Life Goes On

It's finally done! We finished creating our blog. We hope you all enjoy and feel like you are up to date on what is going on in our lives. This year has been a crazy and exciting year for our family. Jeremy graduated from Physical Therapy School with his doctorate degree on May 17th. Yahoo! He has worked hard are we are all proud of him. He is already working as a tech until he passes his board exams. He is hoping to take his boards in early June. I am busy being a mom and continue to work twice a week as a nurse. Michael is now 19 months old and keeps us on our toes. He has learned how to climb this past week and will push his chair to the couch or the table and try to climb up. He is always cracking us up with his cute smile and dancing. He still loves to jump and be outside. Jeremy and I love being parents. We are excited for this next stage in our lives as Jeremy starts his career. Our motto for the year: Don't Worry, Be Happy!

Cruising

We have been trying to take as many vacations as possible before Jeremy starts working. So, we started this year off with a cruise in January. Jeremy and I left our baby with my parents and headed to California with my sister Sheryl and her husband Nick. We left LA and sailed to San Diego, Catalina, and Ensanada on a ship called the Monarch of the Seas. We stayed up every night until 2:00am and had a blast. Thanks mom and dad for watching the babies. Then in May, Jeremy's dad had a family cruise reunion aboard the same ship, so we got out our sea legs and joined them. We were worried about taking Michael, but he was wonderful and we had a great time. He was treated like a little prince and was served mixed fruit and gourmet mac and cheese every night. Jeremy and I decided we love cruising. Who wouldn't love someone cleaning your room twice a day and leaving you mints and towel animals on your bed at night. After we left the ship, we decided we weren't ready to head home. So, we traveled down the coast of California and stayed in San Diego a couple nights. We took Michael to the beach and then to the San Diego Zoo. I'm attaching a slide show of pictures from our adventures.
