Family Fun

 Trips up to northern Utah to visit family is always one of our favorite things to do.  We were able to spend the first night in Eden at our timeshare, where we swam in the pool and just relaxed, then the next day we went and stayed with Jeremy's mom and all the cousins came over for some fun.  The next couple days we spent at the city pool, hanging out together, and had a giant cousin birthday party.  The kids were spoiled and had a great time.  They have so much fun playing with their cousins.  We also were able to see Jeremy's dad and spend some time with them.  We also packed in a half marathon race for me and a day of Seven Peaks where the boys loved floating in the wave pool and tubing down the water slides.  We were able to spend the last night at Sheryl's house and see my family.  It was an awesome vacation and we loved spending time with our families!

Brian Head

 We decided we needed some cooler weather, so we headed up to Brian Head for the day.  And we cooled right down.  It was 68 degrees!  We hiked up to the tallest point in the county and it was amazing.  This world is beautiful! Afterwards, we headed to a camping spot and roasted hot dogs and smores.  The kids love being outdoors and so do we!

4th of July

 Let Freedom Ring!  Happy 4th of July.  To celebrate this year, Jer and I headed downtown for some fun at the historic splash, where our kids played in the water until dark.  After that, we settled down on our blanket to watch some fireworks.  The kids loved picking out their favorite fireworks and afterwards, we went out to eat at Iceburg.  Nothing like eating a full meal at 11:00pm!  We had a great time and I am so thankful that I am able to live in this country where I can be free and for all the people that have made it that way and continue to fight for our freedoms!

Fishing and Swimming

 This is how we have been spending the summers here in hot St. George.  Since it rarely gets under 100 degrees in the summer, you can only survive outside if there is water nearby.  We spend our days jumping on the tramp in the sprinklers, playing at splash pads, and we've even gone fishing a couple times.  The boys are both now swimming and love it.  Having a community pool in your neighborhood is a must if you live here!

Visitors

 My parents and sister came down for a visit for a few days and we had a blast while they were here.  We miss seeing everyone and I love it when they visit.  We took them to a bounce house, went swimming everyday, and had a birthday party for Bryce and Juliet.  The kids love playing together and are best friends....I hope it always stays that way!
