You have to love the trouble little boys get into. That's why you have to have a sence of humor as a parent. And one thing I've learned is that if it is quiet...you know something is wrong! While at Sheryl's house, our children were quietly playing upstairs when we realized it was way too quiet and found out that they had decorated Sheryl's kitchen, hallway, laundry room, and living room with artwork. That's right...the boys found Sheryl's dry erase markers and colored everywhere. After a good laugh and some picture taking we were able to clean all the beautiful colors off of her walls, kitchen table, couches, tile, bumbo, stools, and glass doors. A week later, while Jer and I were cleaning up after dinner, we turned around to see that Michael had found our toothpaste and had squeezed out the entire tube onto our living room floor, walls, and himself. Once again, we had a good laugh, took some pictures, and cleaned up the mess. Now our house smells nice and minty fresh. Can I just saythat while being a mom is a messy job, it is the best job in the entire world. Thanks for the laughs.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
So, I'm still a little behind on my posts...but I had to post Christmas and New Years. We had a wonderful Christmas season and had ourselves four Christmas'. That's right...four. We had our own family Christmas, a week early. Then had Christmas with each of Jer's family and then a Christmas with my family. Needless to say, we were spoiled! Thanks to all our family for making our holidays great. It was so fun to watch Michael get excited for Santa and start to understand about baby Jesus. Bryce was more excited for tissue paper and boxes...but he did love watching Michael. Don't ya just love this time of year. And then to end our 2009 year, we had a mexican fiesta. Nothing says New Year's like Mexican food, right? Jer is still under the impression that a holiday cannot be complete unless there are some chips and salsa and some latin music.

One year older and wiser too
Yep...I turned 29! Aaahhh...how can I already be that old. Time flies when you're having fun. My wonderful husband took me on a weekend skiing adventure, while his parents watched our kids. Thank you! It was so much fun. I have only been snowboarding over the last 14 years, so Jer had to teach me how to ski, but I had a blast and think I might have to trade in my snowboard for skis.

Time out
Okay...not a time out for Michael...but for me. My sister-in-law got us all tickets to attend the Time Out For Women Conference and it was awesome. I was able to go with my mom, sister, mother-in-law, and sister-in-laws. Thank you Jeremy for watching the kiddos. Every women needs a time out every once in a while.

ROAR
We took the kiddos to the dinosaur museum over the weekend and had a great time. Michael loved looking at all the huge dinosaurs and they even had an area where kids could play with dinosaurs in the water and sand. Even Bryce had a good time checking out the sights. You should go check out this attraction when you have a free night.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving! Yum...I love food...but more than that, I am grateful we have this time to express our thanks. I feel so blessed and I could take up this whole page listing everything I am grateful for...but I just wanted to say I am so thankful for family. Not only for the wonderful family that I was born into, but also for my husband's family, and most of all for my own family. The best thing I have ever done in my life was become a mother. I love being a mom....it is perhaps the hardest, but most rewarding job there is out there. Being a mother has taught me more about love and patience and of how I want to live my life more than anything else. I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be a mother and the sweet spirits the Lord has sent to my home!
Thanksgiving was great as well. We had a fabulous dinner at my sister's house and all gained 5 pounds. Worth it! And then a couple weeks later we had a thanksgiving mexican fiesta and rockband party at our place. In Jeremy's eyes no holiday is complete without chips and salsa and some latin music!
Blessing
Our little Bryce was blessed November 1st at 1:00pm. Jeremy gave a wonderful blessing and almost all of our family was able to come down and support us. Thanks everyone for coming and for bringing food. And thank you Jeremy for being worthy to hold the priesthood to bless our little guy. We feel so blessed to have this special little one in our lives. He is the best baby ever and is so sweet and brings us so much joy. We love you Bryce!
