Jeremy and I just had our nine year anniversary. Can you believe it! Time flies when you are having fun. And we do have a lot of fun! Jeremy and I love spending time together and I am so glad that I married my best friend. He is my perfect other half. This year we decided to go see U2. It was awesome! Their stage was amazing. It was the biggest stage I have ever seen. We loved it. After watching Bono rock it, we headed to Midway to stay the night. The next day we went hiking up in the mountains and then headed into town to eat at Macaroni Grill and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. We had a fabulous time. Thanks mom for watching the kids! Happy Anniversary Baby!

Mother's Day
Today is mother's day and since I am now a mother of two, I get to be celebrated. I love being a mother. It is the best decision I have ever made. My kids bring me so much joy and I have developed a greater understanding and love for my Savior and Heavenly Father. I am also so grateful for my mom. She is wonderful and I hope someday to be the kind of mother that she is. She is compassionate, optimistic, loving, spiritual, and the most selfless person I know. She is always thinking of others. I think I was blessed with the best mother in the world!
My favorite mommy memory this week was...yesterday Bryce came and snugged in my bed in the morning. He was facing me and rubbing my face with his hand and every once in a while lean forward and bump his head against mine, like he was saying he loved me. So cute! For Michael....I was watching the Biggest Loser with Jeremy and was trying to do some sit ups when Michael came and laid across my stomach and said "okay mom, I'm ready for my snuggles. I love your snuggles." How did I get to be so lucky to have these two charming boys in my life!

Easter
Easter! I just love the holidays! Especially ones that involve large quantities of candy. This year we had the kids color their own easter eggs (which they thought was awesome) and then the easter bunny came and visited them. We had an easter egg hunt at our house and then the next morning we headed to our neighborhood easter egg hunt. Later that day we headed over to Jer's moms house for a very yummy easter dinner, another easter egg hunt, and our kids were spoiled with oodles of candy and cute easter outfits. Afterwards, we stopped by Jer's dads house for pie and fun. We are planning to see my family this weekend. We have such wonderful families and are so thankful for them. We are so grateful to have our two wonderful boys! And we are most especially grateful for our Savior, whom we get to celebrate at this time of year.
Happily Ever After
Jeremy and I were able to go see Nick's little brother Cory get married. It was a beautiful wedding and the best part was that the ceremony was in portuguese and english. Mel, his bride, is from Brazil and they had one of the funnest receptions we have been too. Everybody was dancing and having a great time. Jeremy and I of course went out a busted some sweet moves. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day. Congratulations!

Heaven
Home really can be a heaven! I just had to post that I love morning time at my house. It will probably not always be that way when my kids are older and I have to get them up early and get them ready for school, but for now my mornings are perfect. Every morning the kids jump in my bed and we snuggle and laugh and read books. I'm so glad that they still want to snuggle me and I am so grateful that I get to stay home and play with them. I don't know how I lucked out only having to work 5 hours a week, but it's perfect. The other morning Michael told me that I was his best friend and Bryce murmured my mom. I love it and love my boys!

Viva Las Vegas
Don't we all need a little vacation every once in a while. Jeremy had a conference down in Las Vegas this past weekend and we decided that I should go with him and make a vacation out of it. We had so much fun. We were able to leave our kids with our parents (thank you!) and just spend time together. We were able to sleep in, lay by the pool, eat some buffets, and even go see a Vegas show. I wish we had some more time, so that we could have visited all our friends that still live there, but we were able to go out to eat and go bowling with our good friends Curtis and Liz. I'm so glad that I married my best friend and that he likes to vacation as much as me!

Fondue Anyone
Valentines is not only a time to celebrate the love you have for one another, but also a time to eat some yummy fondue. Jer's family hosted their annual fondue party and once again we went home about five pounds heavier. Was it worth it...yes. We had a great time having a dance competition on the Wii, playing the newlywed game (which Jer and I won!) and watching the kids play their valentine games. And to top it all of Jer got me my favorite flowers...homemade ones with reasons why he loves me. Isn't he sweet!
