Soccer season! How cute is it to watch a bunch of 4 year olds chase a soccer ball around. Michael is having a great time during his weekly soccer games. He runs around the field and loves to do the kick off. For the first few games he would not dare to kick the ball and when we asked him why. He said "because all the other kids have it and I have to share." Poor kid...his whole life we have been telling him to share and let other kids have a turn and so he thinks he needs to let all the other kids kick the ball. So, now he goes around saying..."I have to share mom, but not in soccer. I don't have to share in soccer" A new concept for him. For those of you who have never watched a four year old soccer game...you need to...it's hilarious!

Preschool and Kiddisms
This post is a little late...but better late than never, right? My little man started preschool this year and has been loving it. Although, every time I ask him what he learned he just tells me what they ate for snack time that day. It cracks me up. I guess the food really makes an impression on him. I love listening to him sing the songs he learns or hand a picture to me that he has painted. I love love love my kids. Sometimes they almost drive me to insanity...but they are worth it!
Kiddisms (aka funny things kids say) this month:
While we were in the hot tub with my sister and her family, Michael went up to my sister and patted her boob and looked at her with a confused face and said "Tia, are these your big giant nipples?" And all of us could not stop laughing. I am not known for being chesty, so Michael has never asked about boobs or anything, but he does know that he has nipples and so does every one else...and for those of you who know my sister, know that she is pretty chesty and so this was new for Michael. I guess I need to do some explaining now.A couple nights ago we tried putting Bryce to sleep and he refused to lie down telling us that he "went to sleep last night" so he didn't need to go to sleep that night and the little guy was up until after 12:00 until finally he couldn't keep his little eyes open anymore.

Man Vs Mud
Jeremy and I took on the Mud last weekend with his mom, sister, and brother-in-law....and we dominated! Actually the mud may have overcome us in some spots, but we eventually fought our way back and finished the 5K Mud Run. We launched ourselves down slip n slides, waded through chest deep mud, ran through tires, army crawled through more mud, swam across a small river, ran under tunnels, and crossed slippery mud fields. It was a blast! Thanks to Terry and Natasha for watching the kids. Michael and Bryce cheered us on and sprayed people with water guns as they ran by and had a great time as well.

My Baby Brother
My baby brother, Michael, got married last Thursday to a wonderful girl named Rachel, who he met at BYU Idaho. They were married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple and had a beautiful sealing. We love Rachel and are so glad that he chose her to be his wife. We love you Rachel and wish you and Michael all the happiness in the world!

We Came, We Saw, We Conquered
That's right....Jer and I completed our first triathlon together. He is a triathlon master, but this was my first race. It was a lot of fun. Well...mostly fun....there was a part during the bike riding where I thought to myself "this sucks, why am I paying money to torture myself." But I was glad that I finished it and would like to try another one next year. We swam 400 meters, biked 10.5 miles, and ran 3.2 miles. And I must admit I think we are pretty studly!

Jackson Hole
I love summer! Especially the vacationing part. We just returned home from a trip to Jackson Hole with my family. It was so beautiful there and we had a great time. We were able to hike in the Tetons and at Targhee, pet horses, go 4-wheeling, see the shootout in Jackson Downtown, and sit in the hot tub and play games every night. We even celebrated Bryce's and Michael's birthdays up there. I feel so blessed to have such a great family!

Happy Birthday Jeremy
Jeremy turned 32 a couple weeks ago! My time flies by fast! We celebrated by having a luau and I even made him a cake to match. What man doesn't want a pair of nice knockers on his birthday cake! He was spoiled with golf clubs and ended up having three birthday parties between his family and mine. We love you so much Jeremy. Thank you for being a wonderful father and husband. Happy Birthday!
