Thanksgiving
I love the holidays! We had a great Thanksgiving celebration at my sisters house with all of my family. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family. We had a blast stuffing ourselves to maximum capacity, playing games, laughing, dancing, and just being together. I am so grateful for the family I was born into and also for my husbands family, and most of all for my family. I love being a mother and a wife. I have so much fun watching my kids grow and the funny things they do. It's the best part about life!

First Snowfall
I guess winter is officially here. It snowed yesterday and the first thing the kids said when they looked out the window is "Mom, wow, look at all that snow, we have to get out there." So we promptly got out our storage box of winter clothes and dressed in our snow gear and headed outside to play. The kids loved playing outside and eating the snow. I guess it is the most wonderful time of the year!

Park City 2
Well, one weekend was not enough at Park City, so this past weekend I headed back up there with my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws for a girls night getaway. And the funniest part was that my sister-in-law booked the exact same place I had stayed in the week before. What are the odds! I had so much fun spending time with all my fun sister-in-laws and mother-in-law. My husband has a great family! We went out to eat, made crafts, and stayed up late talking and laughing. Thanks for a fabulous weekend gals and thanks to a wonderful husband who stayed home and watched the kids!

Park City
Time for more partying! Jeremy and I went up to Park City with my sister Sheryl and her husband Nick this past weekend. My mom and dad watched all the kids for us so we could have a fun couples weekend getaway and it was awesome. We went out to eat, went to the movies, shopped, played games, hot tubed, and stayed up until 2:00am every night and the best part was that we got to sleep in! We love you Nick and Slick and are so glad that you are just as quirky as we are.

Halloween Fun
I always have a hard time when the weather starts turning cold, but I do love the holidays! We have been having a lot of fun this October, getting ready for Halloween. Michael and Bryce were able to go to a pumpkin walk in Logan with their grandparents, go to pumpkin patch with Michael's preschool class, make lots of crafts, carve pumpkins, and have a halloween carnival and party at both of their grandparents' houses. It has been one constant party over here! And we do love to party!

Time
I played with my kids all day today and it was fabulous! I have decided that Friday is fun day. The past two Fridays I have spent all day playing with the kids. I did get up early and shower, but besides that I spent all day doing whatever the kids wanted to do. We played at the park, jumped on the trampoline, played cars and transformers, made crafts, read books, played playdough and games, and just spent time together. It has been so much fun. Life gets so busy, between trying to keep up with the house and laundry, and paying bills, and working, and doing my church calling. Life is a balancing act. I love to be organized and have a clean house, but the most important thing in this world to me is my family. I want my kids to look back and remember a mom who spent time with them, not that they lived in a spotless house. I was grocery shopping a couple weeks ago with my kids and the lady that was checking us out, looked at my kids and said to me "spend as much time as you can with them, because before you know it they are gone and you'll miss them. Every thing else can wait, but your time with them never slows down." I took that comment to heart. One of the most important things you can give your children is time. I hope my kids remember how much fun they had growing up. How their parents adored them (most of the time). How much time we spent with them...hiking, and playing sports in the backyard, going on trips, reading, and wrestling. I am so grateful I have these two special guys in my life. I don't want to miss a minute with them. The time seems to be slipping by so quick and I want to be better at living in the moment. There are no words that describe how worthwhile it is to be a mother. It's worth all the challenges and frustration and sometimes heartache. It's worth everything and I am so grateful I have this opportunity to raise these wonderful and rambunctious boys!

Braces and Strep
Yep...I'm 30 years old and now in braces. Yikes...how did I let myself get talked into these torture devices! And if I didn't look like I was 18 already, I really do now. I may be regretting my decision, but I am sure that in 18 months I will be glad. If I can survive the 18 months! I suddenly have a lot more sympathy for teenagers who complain about their braces. At least they're clear, right...and you do get used to them over time...right? Here is picture of me in all my glory!
Also, my family just got over strep throat. Yuck...I hate being sick. I so appreciate my health. It's like they say....you never appreciate what you had until it's gone. So appreciate your health! I had to post this disgusting picture of my tonsils...so look away now if you get grossed out. The scary thing is that they looked even worse than the picture until the antibiotics finally kicked in. I'd like to give the man a hug who produced the Z pack!
