Christmas

Can Christmas really have come and gone! It always flies by too fast, especially with all the partying we like to do. We celebrated Christmas four times with all of our families and we once again were spoiled. We are so blessed to have such wonderful families! The kids loved spending time with their cousins and playing with their new toys. And due to lack of snow this year, we even spent Christmas Eve swimming as opposed to sledding and had a lot of fun. I love this time of year, when we are all a little more giving and get to not only focus on the fun of Christmas, but more importantly on the birth of our Savior. Merry Christmas to all!

Nativity

Michael's preschool put on a nativity presentation for all the parents and it was adorable. Michael was one of the wisemen and loved dressing up. Is there anything cuter than a child's presentation of the Nativity?

31...Really?

Can I really be 31! Time seems to slip by more quickly each year. I guess that I am now officially in my 30's. But they say the 30's are your best years...so bring it on! For my birthday, Jeremy whisked me away to Wolf Mountain for a weekend getaway. We had a great time eating, playing racquetball, and spending time together. He even took me to see Breaking Dawn...if that's not true love, I don't know what is. What a wonderful hubby! On my actual birthday, my mom, sister, and sister-in-law kidnapped me and took me shopping for my birthday while my brother and dad watched the kids. I had a blast. Thanks for spoiling me girls! Then my mom made dinner and a cake and all my family came over to celebrate. Thank you for making me feel so loved. I guess turning 31 isn't so bad and it will always be one of my favorite memories!

Thanksgiving

I love the holidays! We had a great Thanksgiving celebration at my sisters house with all of my family. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family. We had a blast stuffing ourselves to maximum capacity, playing games, laughing, dancing, and just being together. I am so grateful for the family I was born into and also for my husbands family, and most of all for my family. I love being a mother and a wife. I have so much fun watching my kids grow and the funny things they do. It's the best part about life!

First Snowfall

I guess winter is officially here. It snowed yesterday and the first thing the kids said when they looked out the window is "Mom, wow, look at all that snow, we have to get out there." So we promptly got out our storage box of winter clothes and dressed in our snow gear and headed outside to play. The kids loved playing outside and eating the snow. I guess it is the most wonderful time of the year!

After exhausting all our energy playing in the snow, we decided to snuggle up and watch the Incredibles (their new favorite movie). I snuggle with the boys every afternoon and I love it! It's one of the best parts of my day.

Park City 2

Well, one weekend was not enough at Park City, so this past weekend I headed back up there with my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws for a girls night getaway. And the funniest part was that my sister-in-law booked the exact same place I had stayed in the week before. What are the odds! I had so much fun spending time with all my fun sister-in-laws and mother-in-law. My husband has a great family! We went out to eat, made crafts, and stayed up late talking and laughing. Thanks for a fabulous weekend gals and thanks to a wonderful husband who stayed home and watched the kids!

Park City

Time for more partying! Jeremy and I went up to Park City with my sister Sheryl and her husband Nick this past weekend. My mom and dad watched all the kids for us so we could have a fun couples weekend getaway and it was awesome. We went out to eat, went to the movies, shopped, played games, hot tubed, and stayed up until 2:00am every night and the best part was that we got to sleep in! We love you Nick and Slick and are so glad that you are just as quirky as we are.
