One Party To Rule Them All

We decide to have a one party to rule them all birthday bash this year for all the boys birthdays. Jeremy turned 31, Michael turned 4, and Bryce turned 1!!! We had a great time, even with the crazy wind, and I let Michael help me pick out all the decorations. He chose a soccer theme and thought it was great that every one came down to celebrate with him. He loves his cousins! We played some fun games...pin the soccer player on the goalie, water balloon toss, pass the balloons, and the adults even got to have their own water balloon fight. At the end we busted open a pinata. Thanks so much to every one that came and thank you for the awesome presents!!

A quick shot before the festivities begin

All the boys were spoiled

One, two, three...make a wish

Are you impressed with my cake decorating skills.

Game time with all the cousins!

Itty Bitty Ball and Fun

Wow...hasn't this summer just flown by! I just can't seem to keep up with my blogging. We have had a great summer and I thought I better post some of our activities. Michael just finished Itty Bitty Soccer. He was on team France and had a great coach and had a lot of fun most of the time. He liked all the activities, except when everyone would get together and play a big game of soccer. Then he wanted to come sit next to me and watch the action. We also went up the canyon for some campfire fun with Todd and Ashley and the next week we went to the Balloon Festival with Nick and Sheryl. And last but not least, we went to see the helicopters with my brother. I love all the fun activities of summer!

Isn't he handsome? He loved kicking the ball into the goal and playing the hula hoop game.

Jeremy made us yummy tin foil dinners. Michael and Chase loved watching the fire and roasting smores.

So, it was so windy that night, they were only able to fill up a couple hot air balloons, but Michael and Tanner had tons of fun dancing to the music and laughing.

Jer and I wanted to take a helicopter ride, but since the weather was so humid, they could only take someone who was under 50 lbs. Maybe next year!

My baby is ONE!!!

My Bryce-Man turned one last week. I still can't believe it. I don't know how time flies by so fast. I feel like I just had him, although I can't picture life without him. He is such a sweet baby and I feel so blessed he came to our family. He loves to snuggle and smiles all day long. We threw him a Mikey Mouse birthday party and his favorite presents were a toothbrush (he's obsessed with them) and a ball. Michael was so excited that it was Bryce's birthday and went around singing "happy birthday" all day. He also thought it should be his birthday as well. Bryce also started taking steps on Monday. I posted a video of him at the bottom. He's so proud of himself. I love you Bryce!!!

So much to blog...so little time

I just can't seem to keep up with this blog! This summer is flying by and Jer and I have been celebrating with parties galore. It's been fun to spend so much time with family. I wish I could post all my pictures, but alas, there just isn't room on this page and time. Here's some pictures of some of the parties we've gone too.

Jordan's 30th Birthday...80's style
Even Michael was rockin in his 80's outfit

Yes..that is a trampoline in the living room...that's how we roll. We celebrated all the summer birthdays.
Kaleb in his star wars outfit. Tayli already walking at 9 months!!!

Celebrating Sheryl's and Mama's birthdays
The boys had a great time with sparklers

July 4th! We took the kids to see the thanksgiving point fireworks
The sunset was almost as pretty as the fireworks

He's on a roll

Wow...Triathlon number 4! Aren't you so impressed by Jeremy? I like how Jeremy goes and competes in these races, while the kids and I eat treats and watch him. I need to get motivated to start working out again. Why is it so hard to get back into the workout routine? But Jeremy is awesome and did great at this all outdoor triathlon called Saratoga Splash. He swam 600 meters, ran 3.1 miles, and biked 12 miles. Whew...what can I say....you're the Man Jer! The next day we took the kids to Thanksgiving point and Michael was so proud of himself that he rode the horse all by himself. When did my kids get to be so big!

Lake Powell

Isn't Lake Powell one of the greatest places! What's better than boating, skiing, eating, sunbathing, and sleeping. Jer and I were able to go to Lake Powell with his family for some fun on their houseboat. We had a blast even though the water was 59 degrees! We not only braved the water and did some wakeboarding, we also went on two hikes. The first one we ventured on was Hole in the Rock. It was amazing to think the pioneers came down the mountain with wagons and horses. The other hike was to Mistake Alcove to see some ancient ruins. We even celebrated a bunch of birthdays by having a minute to win it party where Natasha won. Thanks to Jer's family for a fabulous vacation!

Growing too fast

So, now that Michael is growing older and his speaking is improving, he no longer makes up his own words. And I must admit...I miss it. He used to crack me up with the funny things he would say and his own made-up language. I just had to write down my favorite words I will miss. Temple is no longer Patu.....Cars are no longer Eees....Suckers are no longer Racus....Binkies are no longer Nees....Cookies are no longer Cocos...treats are no longer Nums...fruit snacks are no longer Punkies...Water is no longer Wyo....Flower is no longer Fyo. I am glad that his speech is improving but I am going to miss his funny made up words.
